The Antidote

The Antidote have only been around for a short while, but have already made a name for themselves in the local area, headlining at The Ironworks in Oswestry, Shropshire, as wells as playing at numerous other venues in and around the town. They have a varied and versatile sound, switching from full on rock anthems to blues, punk and heavy metal.

The Antidote is fronted by Jase Jones, whose unique vocal style and song writing abilities go about setting the tone for the rest of the band, with Paul Goodwin melting faces on lead guitar, the very talented Olly James on drums & backing vocals, Phil Goodwin hammering out the chords on rhythm guitar, and Steve Adams bringing up the rear on bass guitar

The Band's influences are as varied as their music, with such bands as Gun & Roses, Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, Tool, Muse and The Who, to name but a few! Come along to a show soon, and you will not be disappointed!
